A very good lightweight oil
Drunk Elephant's Marula Oil has a lightweight formula and absorbs well, leaving my skin feeling nourished and smooth. I appreciate the antioxidant and omega fatty acid benefits, which do work well over time. I am a committed oil user and try many different types and brands so I may not repurchase this immediately but I did like it and would use it again.

best oil ever!
I stupidly treated myself to this during their Black Friday sale and I am now dreading the day this runs out as I don’t think I can live without it now! (Fingers crossed it lasts until another one of their sales…) I also struggle finding oils that don’t sit on top of my skin as I have super oily skin, but this one melts in within minutes! It’s super hydrating and makes me wake up with such a glow!

This product feels amazing on my skin and doesnt make me feel oily. I think it has helped with my hormonal acne as ive noticed clearer skin around my cycle which is usually when i breakout. Great product overall, expensive but I'm about to rebuy! Also works great with out drunk elephant and other branded products

Quick absorption, dry oil
The theory behind using oil for combination skin is that your combination to oily skin identifies its presence as the protection it needs, whereas usually your skin compensates by overproducing sebum. So with the addition of an oil, the skin considers that it doesn’t need to secrete more sebum and therefore, it becomes less oily. Marula oil seemed a perfect candidate for my skin type and needs: a fine oil, with anti-aging properties, however I was still reluctant to use it during the day and only tried the sample given to me for evenings only. I would say it's a dry oil that sinks in quickly. It didn't break me out but I didn't find it any better than using a cream to seal in moisture like LRP cicaplast baume.

Great staple over the years
I love this oil, having started using drunk elephant many years ago; this is always something I go back to. That being said, over the years I have found other oils I enjoy using more (La Mer, Augustinus Bader), as I find them more ‘luxurious’ and hydrating - one reason I deducted a star is that this oil isn’t as hydrating as I’d like. I still wake up with dry skin even after putting on a lot. And it does make your face look quite oily so I consider it for nighttime use only. But, it’s a good staple, good brand, one I always come back to. Very good to use after TLC Babyfacial.
